PKR has revived its ambition of toppling the BN federal government, saying its failure to take over as promised on Sept 16 did not mean it will fail to do so forever.

“We’re thankful for unexpected win during recent 12th general election. From only one Members of Parliament (MP), we now have 31 MPs” says PKR deputy chief.

Syed Ali said opposition massive win at the 12th general elections attributed to a number of factors including infighting in Umno and PAS, DAP and PKR ability to work together towards achieving common goals.

Meanwhile, in his opening address PKR de facto leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim says the parti will commence it quests to wrestle Sarawak from BN government a soon as possible.

“We’ve listened to our Sarawakian delegates and we will send our team to Sarawak beginning next month in preparation for the forthcoming state election,” Anwar said when launching Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) Congress on Saturday.
