Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi arrived here this morning to open the 21st Sarawak United People’s Party’s (SUPP) delegates’ conference at the party’s headquarters here.

Abdullah, who is Barisan Nasional chairman, arrived at the Kuching International Airport at 10am.

He was greeted on arrival by Deputy Chief Ministers Tan Sri Alfred Jabu and Tan Sri Dr George Chan, who is SUPP president, as well as federal and state cabinet ministers.

Abdullah would leave for Johor Baharu in the afternoon to open the Iskandar Regional Development Authority meeting.
