Thailand’s youngest and 27th prime minister expected to be endorsed by the country royal on Wednesday news report said.
Bangkok Post said, quoting party core leader Sathit Wongnongtoey Abishit expected to be royally endorsed as the premier at 5pm Wednesday.
Party spokesman Buranach Samutrak said the newly endorsed premier then expected to give his first press conference likely to touch on his government policies later of the day.
Meanwhile, Democrat secretary-general Suthep Thaugsuban hinted that the cabinet line-up to be completed on Thursday.
One or two positions including defense portfolio will be filled by outsiders, he added.
