Democratic Action Party (DAP) Bintulu branch is holding a registration programme for newly qualified voters who have attained the voting age of 21-year old.

Kidurong state assemblyman Chiew Chin Sing said the programme was not a partisan-based but “being a voter is every Malaysian responsibility as a citizen.”

According to Chiew who is DAP Bintulu branch chairman and Sarawak DAP deputy chairman said they were moving from one residential area to another since last week.

“We lace manpower in approaching these young people, so I hope someone out there is willing to help and become a volunteer in the programme,” he said.

Those who wishes to register or any inquiry can call 086 – 335 811 DAP’s office at Parkcity Commercial Center.

“They also can go to the nearest Post Office for registration purposes,” Chiew added.
