People will continue to support Barisan Nasional because they realized that where the development funds are from said Ngemah Parti Rakyat Sarawak (PRS) division chairman Alexander Vincent (pic).alexander-vincent

“I think people in Kanowit now realize that where development or funds are concerned, they can only rely on BN. Right now they know that their only source of funds is Aaron Dagang (Kanowit BN MP),” he was quoted as saying by a local daily on Friday.

Alexander also refuted claims that some PRS members were among the 3000 defunct Parti Bansa Dayak Sarawak (PBDS) members who had joined PKR recently together with Adit.

“The people of Kanowit now knew that they had made a mistake by supporting Gabriel Adit, he said.

He also acknowledged that PKR has been distributing membership forms in his area, but said majority of the people there were not convinced that the party could help them.

Alexander Vincent made an unsuccessful bid to unseat Garbriel Adit who stood as Independent in 2006 state election.

Late last year, Adit together with nearly 12,000 supporters said to be former PRS members joined PKR.
