Malaysia to invite new United States president, Barrack Obama, to visit the country, said Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Dr Rais Yatim.
Through the visit, Obama can see for himself that Malaysia was a country of various races and religions which was peaceful, stable and practised democracy, he said.
Abdullah Badawi who would retire at the end of next month, according to Foreign Minister had sent an invitation to Obama to visit Malaysia.
If the invitation accepted by Obama administration, then he’d not be the one to have the honor to greet the hugely popular US president.
