AirAsia has inked a 10-year deal with Akamai Technologies Inc a global Internet content and application delivery company hoping to boost its reliability and online performance.

In a statement posted at Akamai website, Tony Fernandes said through this strategic partnership with Akamai, AirAsia will be able to keep up our momentum in enhancing our market share.

“It is very crucial to support our ever expanding fleet and route network. On top of it all, this reflects AirAsia’s commitment to providing our guests with the best online experience” the statement said.

AirAsia’s website is one of Malaysia highly traffic sites with an average of one million unique visitors a month.
