PAS fully supports the suggestion by Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak that the Barisan Nasional (BN) and the opposition pact worked together to resolve the political crisis in Perak.
PAS vice-president Datuk Husam Musa said it was among the best moves to avoid public confusion in tackling the issue.
“PAS supports the Prime Minister’s suggestion and it is among the best measures to resolve the crisis in Perak and it is hoped that everyone can cooperate in resolving the issue,” he told reporters, here today.
He was commenting on the statement by the Prime Minister yesterday that the BN government was willing to cooperate with the opposition to overcome the political dispute in Perak, but it did not mean that it agreed to form a coalition government.
Najib was commenting on the statement by DAP advisor Lim Kit Siang previously stating that the opposition was willing to hold a discussion with him to resolve the political crisis in Perak.
