The three charged over the multi-billion ringgit PKFZ scandal, Steven Abok (L), Bernard Tan (C) and O.C Phang (R)

Datin Paduka O.C. Phang, former general manager of the Port Klang Authority (PKA), Bernard Tan and Steven Abok charged in court today in connection with Port Klang Free Trade Zone.

The three then were freed after posted their bails.

1. Datin O.C Phang bail was fixed at RM350,000 – claiming trial to three charges for CBT amounting to RM254 million
2. Steven Abok, chief operations officer of Kuala Dimensi S/B bail was set at RM200,000 – jointly charged for two offences of cheating amount to RM5.4million
3. Bernard Tan an architect with BT Architect bail was at RM250,000 with one surety for charges of CBT amounting to RM122.3 million

Both Abok and Tan case will be mentioned on Feb 4 while Phang case on Jan 12. According to Malaysian insider twitter post “Attorney General Gani Patail says another KDSB engineer to be charged in PKFZ scandal.”

There is no mentioned of either former Transport Minister Chan Kong Choy or Tiong King Sing, who is the CEO of PKFZ contractor Kuala Dimensi Sdn Bhd (KDSB) – will face any action.
