As Malaysian, don’t you feel tired of these police reports thing. It is becoming a trend of sort lately – as if the police has no other better things to investigate.

DAP chairman Karpal Singh seems to favorite target. The Federation of Peninsular Malay Students (GPMS) lodged a police report against him today for allegedly questioning the Malay rights and privileges.

GPMS president Jais Abd Karim said Karpal’s remarks reported by a Malay tabloid yesterday could cause chaos and disunity.

“We want the police to investigate Karpal Singh under the Sedition Act,” he said when met after lodging the report at the Sentul police district headquarters.

Sentul police chief ACP Zakaria Pagan confirmed receiving the report according to Bernama the national news agency.

Karpal, who is Member of Parliament for Bukit Gelugor, said non-Malays should enjoy special rights like the Malays while the 1Malaysia concept should be devoid of racial discrimination.
