SNAP deputy president Ting Ling Kiew

The by-election in Sibu on March 16 took an interesting turn as sacked SNAP deputy president Ting Ling Kiew openly pledged his support to Barisan Nasional in a press conference in Kuching today.

“Some of the CEC (Central Executive Council) are now on the ground to campaign for BN”, he said, according to Sarawak Update.

“SNAP express solid support to the ruling government and our collective stand in SNAP remains the same ever since the Batang Air by-election whereby majority of we in SNAP throw our whole heartedly support to BN under the leadership of the Prime Minister, Datuk Seri Mohamad Najib Tun Razak”, he added.

“BN has never sacked SNAP and SNAP has never resign from BN”, Ting gave a punching line to the press attended the media conference.
