Bintulu new bus terminal recently named ‘Perhentian 1 Malaysia – Parkcity Bintulu’ was said to be operational early 2009, will again be delayed.
No words from the authorities of it opening date neither was there an explanation as why it has not been open yet. The terminal was completed more than a year already.
Construction on the two-storey terminal was started on Nov 2007 at a cost RM4.8 million with facilities such as offices, ticketing booths and 11 unit lock-up shops on the ground floor.
On the second floor will be a 15-stall food court and common area. The terminal has 15 parking bays for buses and five public telephones.
