Ms Beard, 39 escorted out of Amtrak train after passengers complaints she was talking too loudly on phone.

A woman who got pulled of an Amtrak train by police after passengers complained she was speaking too loudly on a cell phone for unbelievably 16-hours long.

Lakeysha Beard of Tigard, 39 from Oregon, was charged with disorderly conduct after police were called by Amtrak staffs following continued complaints from passengers.

Police said Ms Beard became aggressive and was involved in a ‘verbal altercation’ when asked to be quiet during the journey from Oakland, California to Salem, Oregon.

Fellow travellers said Ms Beard refused to put the phone down even after staff made repeated announcements for passengers to not use mobile phones, Ms Beard told Portland’s KATU News that she felt ‘disrespected’ by the incident.

The train pulled out of the station in Oakland at 10pm on Saturday night and came to a halt at a crossing about two miles from Salem station at 2pm on Sunday.
