It’s sound weird in Europe when parents ask kids to help with household chores. In Spain, lawmakers are drafting laws that would make it compulsory for children to help their parents in household chores according to their age not gender.
The measure in Spain would lists the responsibilities and obligations of children to include “participating in family life, respecting their parents and siblings” and “co-responsibility in caring for the home and performing household chores according to their age and regardless of their gender.”
No punishments or penalties are listed for failing to comply, though.
Hubby, already required by the Law in Spain to share the burden of bringing up a family.
How is it here at Bintulu? Do you kids still helping their parents to do household chores?
