“Communications is an important tool in our daily life and with the introduction of broadband, communications is now at our fingertip and can gain access to all parts of the world,” said Abdul Rahim when launching the Visit Museum Telekom 2014 campaign here Thursday.
Also present were the ministry’s Deputy secretary-general II Datuk Che Azemi Haron and Telekom Malaysia Group chief executive officer Tan Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa.
The campaign is being organised in conjunction with World Telecommunication and Information Society Day (WTISD) 2014 which was themed ‘Jalur Lebar Untuk Pembangunan Mapan’.
