New World Mart apologized, expressed sincere regret and concerned after one of it vendors inadvertently violated fishing regulations by bringing in ‘non-commercial fish’ into it Lutong outlet yesterday.
“This has never happened to our outlets before this and we express our concerns towards the products vendors display in our premises,” the Bintulu based supermarket chain said in reply to our inquiry on the issue.
New World Mart assures customers and the public that its will work closely with relevant authorities on the matter.
“We will make sure strict procedures are in place to stop any such activities coming into all our outlets.
“On behalf of management, we would like to sincerely apologize to all that have been offended by this incident and we thank you for your continuous support towards our outlets,” New World Mart said.
