According to reliable sources the authorities had arrested at leas four individuals for questioning related to recent shooting of Sarawak’s Second Finance Minister and Minister of Environment and Public Health residence in Sibu.
Datuk Seri Wong Soon Koh was unhurt in the incident on August 14, but the shots caused a crack on the window of the house upper-floor bedroom.
The shots were fired from the perimeter wall of the house, about 50m from the bedroom window.
Deputy district police chief Supt Martin Khoo said the perpetrator probably used a shotgun.
He said a police investigation team who rushed to the scene found nine pellets on the car porch area.
“We are investigating the shooting case under the Firearms Act.
“As we are still investigating the case, we can not say much at this moment,” he told The Star.
