It’s rather ironic that Indonesian living along the border particularly near Sri Aman, Tebedu areas think they would be better off if the were part of Malaysia.
These Indonesians thought they were lagging far behind the rest of the country – echoing the sentiment brought up by the secessionist groups in Sabah and Sarawak.
“The obligation of a state to its citizen is clearly to bring welfare into the community. That is what a sate should do to its citizen,” said one unidentified Dayak man in the clip.
