BDA Reprimands Construction Supervisor for Trails of Mud, Dirt on Road

Trails of mud, dirt, and dust caused by heavy vehicles leaving Mega Emart construction site were quickly cleared after they were issued a notice.

BDA General Manager, Pn. Rodziah Morshidi said they send a team to check on the works of a supermarket contractor that left trails of mud, dirt, and dust on the main road, yesterday.

“The call that I made at 1235hrs today received a response from Mohadir and his Enforcement team that they were already on site and a notice had been issued to the Contractor at 1315hrs”, Rodziah posted on her Facebook page.

The contractor had been warned that non-compliance would risk closure of the construction site and confiscation of vehicles involved.

It is a common practiced in many big cities – Kota Kinabalu, Kuching to ensure vehicles leaving construction site must be cleaned of mud and dirt before leaving a construction site.

Unfortunately, many construction sites in Bintulu seem to openly disregard this rule.
