Latest photos of Borneo’s longest bridge project in Brunei

This Brunei infrastructure mega project costing an estimate of USD1.13billion (RM5billion) is progressing well. The bridge expected completion date is in by 2019 – probably earlier.

The Temburong bridge will connect Brunei-Muara District and Temburong District, will shorten traveling time to just 30-40 minutes from at least 2-hours via Limbang currently.

Sarawakians on a frequent journey to Lawas and beyond will also benefit from shorter traveling distance.

Once completed, the dual two-lane highway bridge will span about 30 kilometers between Jalan Utama Mentiri in the Brunei-Muara District and Jalan Labu in the Temburong District.

The project is to be implemented under a series of construction contract packages. Here are few latest photos of the bridge project.

Once completed the Brunei Temburong bridge will be the longest in Borneo spanning over 30 kilometer long.
