Bintulu ganja growers arrested by police in early morning raid

This is surprising. Bintulu police have been making a number of drug-related arrests recently, but none actually amount to this – catching ganja growers.

Yup, there are ganja or weed growers among us now – and even more astonishing – they live in a government quarter!

The suspects are also surprisingly young, aged between 15 to 21 years old. They were arrested around 5.30am today, following months of police surveillance according to Bintulu police chief Superintendent Zailani Amit.

In the raid, Bintulu police found dried ganja leaves, ganja plants in two pots, and a grinder.

Police estimated the drug could fetch some RM1,800 at the current market.

Bintulu police hope, the people of Bintulu will work together with the police to combat drug abused in the Division.

The suspects are pretty young aged 15 to 21 years old.
