Dayakbaru changing tune after Batang Ai defeat

Popular Dayak blogger Dr John Brian seems to be singing a totally different tune after PKR was defeated by BN in the just concluded Batang Ai by-election. Anyone who has been following his blog must be surprised by the sudden change!

Dr John is now talking about “dare to dream” versus “change we must”; now it’s not being PKR mouth piece when he was all over the places following PKR leaders, posting youtube videos of PKR leaders’ speeches etc.

He even try to dis-associate himself with the “dayakism” agenda often preached in his blog prior to the by-election. There also used to be Iban language articles in the blog. But that too, would likely to change soon following the “will not limit the language to Iban only” blog new policy.

What’s up Doc? Is that the sort of “change” you’re hoping to achieve. No wonder the Ibans, particularly those voters in Batang Ai were afraid (Alfred) and probably wary of ‘Change’ messages that so call ‘Dayak Baru’ were preaching.

A faceless blogger with no real name – dare only to say things behind the shadow of darkness.

With so much deceit in the mind ….? Better hide the identity

Faceless or otherwise – the opposition should be consistent in sending the right message to the people especially the Dayak communities.

Unlike the urbane Dayak, the longhouse Dayak didn’t adept well to fast changing message.

I dont see any changing tune in that blog…..

what’s wrong to change the language anyway? because many people demanded him to write in BM or BI apart from Iban anyway…..his blog is read by multi-lingual readers….
