Look like Utusan “Bangkitlah Melayu” headline will be making headlines in the next few days. Al Tuguaw a popular blogger in Sarawak, in an email carbon copy to Bintulu Edition said (quoted verbatim):
“…While their boss, the erstwhile PM of Malaysia, is trying to put forward his “1Malaysia” concept, opportunistic though it may be, they are blatantly pushing a racist and racial agenda. Obviously this is both a challenge to Najib as well as a warning to the other races of this country”
Their headline today reads “Bangkitlah Melayu” and they are blaming this incitement on the “extreme” demands of the other races – how convenient! THIS IS SEDITION!
If Najib doesn’t take immediate and stern action against Utusan Malaysia, Khir Toyo and other dastardly proponents of this deadly doctrine, such form of extremism will put paid to his “1Malaysia” concept and tear this nation apart. This threatens to be more explosive than we all know what.
Any Dayak wants to fight them with “Bangkitlah Dayak”? THAT IS ALSO SEDITION!
Is this what we want? ALL Sarawakians and Malaysians should protest and declare war on all forms of racism as well, not because we favour Najib’s opportunistic doctrine or concept, but because that is the right thing to do.
And that will send a message to these feudal chauvinists that we do not tolerate such nonsense.
There are three important questions that we seek answers from you on the latest Utusan’s “Bangkitlah Melayu” headline. The trivial one is why when Utusan Malaysia shouting “Bangkitlah Melayu” they are not considered as being racist, why others are? At least their license has not been suspended so far.
Second questions – how will such a headline being perceived or received by the more moderate Malays in Sarawak and Sabah? How will the Bumiputera (a term so misleading) in both states react?
Third question – what would the non-Malay reactions to such a strong overtly racist headline? Will it negatively impaired Najib rating in months, years to come? Will it further isolate the non-Malay especially Chinese and Indians who seem to be returning to BN – albeit gradually?
We know Najib already has a plate full of problems – the economy, by-election defeats, Perak fiasco and yesterday’s Terengganu Kite revolt. Can he afford isolating the non-Malay further – after all the talks of one Malaysia? or perhaps he has different definition of the 1Malaysia concept that we don’t share.
- Bangkitlah Lain-Lain: “One wonders is Melayu the only native in Malaysia. What if the ‘lain-lain’ says the same thing?”
- Kalau tak nak bangkit dosa tak? “Apa dia tuntutan kaum lain tu? Dari dulu dengar tuntutan kaum lain. Cuba cerita sikit apa yang mereka tuntut. Macam mana kalau mereka tuntut nakkan kerajaan yang bebas rasuah? hahaha”

Racism is also a political ideology. Right or wrong is a separate issue. If the majority of the electorate voted in a racist party, then they rule! It is as simple as that.

u r correct as long as u r Dacing people. If you are normal citizen like us, then, u r consider as racist by Dacing.
Perhaps all the non Malays should stand together and organise a civil war! It’s time for another 13 May, we deserve to be treated as equal not as an outcast in our own country! This country is going backwards every second of the day. Corrupted, selfish, racist… And without change there is only one way for Malaysia, going backward! This country disgust me and is totally primitive!!!
If Chinese/Indian newspaper put this headline, I’m sure HEBOH satu m’sia again…
Other race asked (menuntut/memohon) for something… but if Malay want or do something, they never ask other 1st. Other races keep silent and do nothing… what other races can do? later they said u’re racist
Don’t try to bring this issue into swk….
“This country disgust me and is totally primitive!!!” yaa agree
I don’t know what happened to all the minister?seem they just like work for thr own.they don’t care about the citizen, regarding Allah issue, I don’t know how someone could bring this thing up?It an arabic word, who is he to make religous laws??So thats mean he is greater than God(In peninsular Malaysia,Allah in Sarawak and Sabah), and I don’t know why the high court give using off Allah in Sabah & Sarawak but not in Peninsular, so this more on politics than religious matter. The Malaysia people should work together to change the goverment, becaused they seem play with the citizen of malaysia for their on good.
