Bintulu newest hotel the Kemena Hotel at Assyakirin

By BO EDITORIAL   |   Saturday, January 30, 2010 -- Updated 21:28 (MST)

A new hotel is already up at Medan Raya (or is it Assyakirin Commercial Center?) – across the street from Medan Jaya.

It look like a decent hotel – probably three star. A banner hang at the top floor of the hotel said it is called “KEMENA HOTEL”.

Unfortunately we don’t have much details yet. See details review here.

The correct name is Assyakirin Commercial Square. But most of the people will call it Assyakirin Commercial Center.

Names of areas in Bintulu are always very very confusing. What is the correct name, nobody knows. Some names look funny and dont make sense. Where is BDA supposed to make Bintulu friendly city. Bull shit only…..

It is supposed to be Forego Jaya. However, local authority made a name change to the whole area including of the Medan Raya (shophouses built by KTS). Hence both areas are called Assyarkirin Commercial Centre/ Square.
